Blog pages show at most" resets to 50
-
Hi,
I need to show a 100 blogposts on the front page, but the ‘blog pages show at most’ setting resets to 50.
Does anyone know a way around this?
There isn’t even a ‘show next post’ option at the bottom of the page to reveal the disappeared 50.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This blog http://her100ogerddi.wordpress.com/ is wearing the Blaskan theme and not Hemingway and not Hemingway rewritten either.
Please provide the URL for the exact blog in question in the form of an active link starting with http://

Hello,
Thanks for your reply. Do you know if there’s a way of leading the readers to the posts that exceed 50?
Thanks

You can use a Recent Posts widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-posts-widget/ and an Archives widget http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/archives-widget/
-
Note that widgets have “visibility” settings so we can select which pages they display on. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/#widget-visibility

Thank you. However unfortunately the recent post and archive widget does the same – and cuts the posts off at 50.

I created a static page http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ and on it a I placed archives shortcode http://en.support.wordpress.com/archives-shortcode/
I created a custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ and I included the static page I created with the archives shortcode on it in that custom menu http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/#adding-pages
The result is an index to all posts published in my blog.
Example here http://thistimethisspace.com/sitemap/ -

There is another shortcode that is useful too called the display posts shortcode http://en.support.wordpress.com/display-posts-shortcode/
You are welcome and best wishes with your blog.
