blog paste mess
-
This is about the mess that results from cut and paste of text into the blog post using WordPress. This is a big problem, because many potential bloggers will submit text or documents which have already been prepared using an external text editor.
The theme we’re using is Hueman.
The problem is that the formatting of the does not conform with the display text box area. The text runs out of the display box, with no bottom slider, so much of the text is not visible.
This problem happens with Kingsoft WPS Writer. It does *not* happen with OpenOffice Writer, but that text editor brings a different characteristic: color bars in alternating colors for each line. The alternating colors are backgrounds of white and light blue, and do not impair legibility, so I’ve been letting them go.
We have not tested with any version of Microsoft Word. Note that we have invited contributers using Corel WordPerfect, and have not tested compatibility with that text editor.
Any thoughts?

Do not use word processors to create blog posts. Use a proper offline blog editor like Blogdesk.
