blog photo not showing up in photography tag search
-
the problem is similar to that expressed in this post https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-photo-on-foodpress?replies=2#post-551074 but in that one they didn’t answer the poster’s question and locked the post to further comments.
I post a photo daily and tag it with the category “photography”. When I look at the recent posts in the photography tag (mine is currently on http://en.wordpress.com/tag/photography/26/), the post is there with the text and my gravitar, but not with the image from my photoblog. Almost all of the surrounding blogs have their image displayed, and I would like to know what I have misconfigured to cause this. It used to work, but I changed themes and made many minor adjustments. I didn’t imagine any one of them would have caused this.
Anyone have a suggestion of where to look?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We bloggers have no control over which images are displayed in the global tags pages. Those selections are made by Staff and I believe they use an algorithm. I do know that display of posts under the most popular Tags/Catagories is randomized as there are over 31 million publishing 7 posts every minute. I think it may be possible that if you use a theme with featured images that may increase the chances of them being displayed, but I hasten to add that’s only speculation on my part. It’s only Staff that know how image selections are made.

I am curious why you say the selection is made by the staff, when the page you point to shows clearly that it is a list of all posts matching that tag. There is no human in that decision loop. It is a search.
The theme I am using (pilcrow) does have a featured image. Is there a place where one can find out from someone who knows how this works?
