  Hello,

  I’ve had the same blog picture/icon for my site for a long time, but what concerns me is that it is of very low quality when presented next to the URL in the search bar on google chrome, internet explorer, etc. comparing to the icons of other sites. Is their any way to improve the quality of this image?

  The image which appears is very small, and considering its tiny size you may want to simplify your logo so it looks more appealing in that abbreviated format.

  For example, one site I work on includes several words framed with a sort of jack-in-a-box. For the blavatar to look “good” I removed the words and just use initials in the box.

  This is not so much a technical question as one about aesthetics and how to simplify so your brand is recognizable in even a tiny format. Keep in mind that most minute detail will be invisible in such a small format.
