Blog Picture/Icon going on and off

My blog’s blavatar image that appears next to the tab on ones’ browser keeps going on and off to showing the image to showing the generic WordPress image (when one doesn’t have one) every few minutes.
Under Settings>General it says I have the image uploaded, which I can still see on my admin bar, but not the actual tab on my browser.
I have it uploaded under my media for months now, and I haven’t had any problems before up until a few days ago when it began to go on and off, which I find very annoying.
I thought this might’ve been because of the snow effect, or my browser, but it doesn’t seem to be the case. I also re-uploaded the image in my media.

I don’t know why the blavatar image display was off and on. I wouldn’t recommend re-uploading blavatar images because the images are cached and it simply means that the time it takes to display the image has now been set back by doing that.

Oh, I didn’t know they were cached. Should I wait and see if it fixes itself? Any idea how long that usually takes?

I would simply sit tight and wait. I don’t know how long it will take. Gravatar images are also cached and can take days to display.
