  My entire blog post can be seen on the home page instead of May be just a few lines and readers don’t have to click on a post to read it fully. How can I rectify this

  Customizer: Content Options

  You will need to change the option from full post to post excerpt. The link will direct you how to do it step by step.

  I should also note that not all themes support this option. :)
