How long does it take for a blog post to be visible to readers?

Mine are instantly available after publication so I don’t understand why yours are not. You appear to have two posts in your feed:

Have you taken a look at the Hatch theme support guide?

It states:
Hatch’s grid-style design relies heavily on featured images, so it looks its best when you assign one to each of your posts.
If no featured image is assigned, Hatch will attempt to pull the first attached image in your post. If no image is attached, the theme displays a light gray placeholder.
So try adding a Featured Image to your post so that it will show up in the grid.

How do I add on to my current blog? It’s the same subject, just a post for a new day. Do I edit what I posted yesterday? Or make a new one? Making a new one requires a new title…

I had my first post on my second blog viz., vaageeswari.wordpress.com on 05 Feb 2015. Why does not it appear in the large collection ? I had three posts published from time to time and they are visible on my first blog viz., tvrmoorty.wordpress.com.
As per status, I see it is published. Yet, it does not appear. What could be the reason ? May I know ? Or did I commit anything adverse or wrong inadvertantly ? Please let me know soon.

Just make a new post by going to http://wordpress.com/post or Posts > Add new in your WP Admin.

How can I explain ? My question is my three posts are visible under ‘Reader’ Tab. And these three were posted to ‘tvrmoorty.wordpress.com’. I understand, that, this way my posts are ready to the rest of the world to read.
But, in another case, my post published to ‘vaageeswari.wordpress.com’ is not appearing under the ‘Reader’ Tab and hence, I think it is not open to the rest of the world.
You see, when open WordPress.com I get only two Tabs on my left. One is ‘My sites’ and the other is “Reader’. The ‘Reader’ will always be open first to watch or read the posts of all in the aggregate.
I can see all my posts in my personal sites.
My query is whether my latest post from
‘vaageeswari.wordpress.com’ is extended to public or not ? Okay ?
