Blog Post adds random header when posting

  After I create a blog post how I like it, I preview it before posting. In the preview, there is an additional image at the top underneath the title. I did not choose this image and don’t know how to remove it! It also is so large that it makes the whole blog post text move to the right side of the page. Please help!

  Hi,
  It looks like the top image is your featured image for the post. You can change this by editing the post. Once the block editor is open, look at the block editor sidebar under the “Posts” tab (top)x-special/nautilus-clipboard

  , then under the “Featured Image” drop-down menux-special/nautilus-clipboard

  . Clicking “Remove Feature Image” will remove the photo. It appears that the feature image isn’t showing as a thumbnail in your current theme, so removing the image in this way should only delete it as shown in the post. I hope this helps! If not, let me know.

  Sorry, I tried to add images but it didn’t work. I’ve created a blog post on my sample blog with the above explanation with the included images. I hope this helps!

  I couldn’t access your sample blog because it was private! I tried removing the feature image but it doesn’t show that there is one there.

  When you’re on the editing screen of a post with block editor, click on the gear icon at the far top right to expand the settings. Scroll down to find the Featured image option and remove the image that presents in there.
