  what is the difference between blog post and site page?

  Pages are mostly used for content that doesn’t change too often, such as an introduction about yourself/your site. Posts are best for adding new content to your site so there is regularly something fresh and different on the front page of your site to encourage visitors to return (and search engines to index your site).
