I just spent maybe 45 mins writing a blog and after I posted it and looked at my page, it wasn’t there? This is the second time this has happened. why is this happening? Is there any way to get my blog back? The title is there, the tags are there but what I wrote isn’t. It’s blank.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please leave the URL of your blog, starting with http:// so that we can have a look at what may be the issue.

Open the post in the editor, and below the text area is a module called “post revisions.” Click on the latest revision, or the one right before that and you should be able to recover nearly all of your post there.

What you are describing is not a normal thing, but given all the different things that can possibly go wrong in-between you and the wordpress servers, it can happen.
My suggestion is to start using an offline blog editor such as Windows Live Writer or blogdesk if you are on Windows, or Ecto if you are on Mac. These blog clients will save your work right on your computer, and then upload and publish the posts at the click of a button. WLW and Blogdesk are free, but Ecto is around $20US.
As an alternate, before clicking save or publish, switch to the HTML tab in the editor, select everything in that text window, and save it to your clipboard. I even go one step further and keep a plain text file open and paste everything into that before I click save so that if something does fail, I have a copy.

Well I guess that’s what I’ll have to start doing. The first time, I thought it was just bad luck and I was able to remember most of what I wrote because it was a short post. This one was so long it would be impossible to remember all that I wrote. Thanks for the advice.
