Are you only allowed one ‘blog post block’ per page? (using Illustratr theme)

Nope. You can add multiple types of blocks to any given post or page. Are you having trouble adding a second type of block?

Yeah I am only being allowed one ‘blog post block’ per page, would like to add different ones so I can have a selection of different categories, if that makes sense…

So in this example ( if you can see it) I would ideally like three different ‘blog post blocks’ for three different categories; Solo, Listicles, and Collaborations… to show the most recent three for each category… Thanks for your time. I was wondering if maybe i didnt have enough content to be allowed more, which could still be the case but im not sure…

Hey @staffywill, you’re actually right, it’s currently not possible to add multiple Blog Post block.
This option has been deactivated for now as there are ongoing works on improving this block and actually allowing to display different sets of posts.
So, while our developers are working on a fix, maybe you can try to use the [display-posts] shortcode.This would allow you to display posts from different categories and customize the number of the posts, the information that’s displayed, etc. Full instructions can be found here:

I don’t think I’ll be able to do that but feel free to check in from time to time. I hope that this will be fixed in the next update.
