Blog Post Block
-
I’m using the intergalactic 2 theme for my site objectiveobscene.wordpress.com. Near the bottom of the homepage I have a small blog posts block for 3 posts. When I am editing the page, as you can see here: https://imgur.com/a/Q0G51lF, the block is neat and formatted correctly. However, when viewing the web page, as you can see here: https://imgur.com/a/x7nL89W, the posts are spaced far apart, the titles are turned transparent and pushed to the right, among a variety of other issues.
When I first created the site around a week and a half ago, I deleted the 3 template posts from the theme. Is it possible this screwed up the block?
Any help would be appreciated very much

Hello there,
Many thanks for reaching out and providing that detail.
It looks like the recent posts block is residing in a layout block, which is stretching the elements there.
Is there a reason why this may be the case?
Many thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response!
No, I have no specific reason, and I didn’t see the layout block there. Is there anyway I can remove the layout block while keeping the recent posts block in the same place?
Thanks in advance

You can try placing it outside of the Layout block, but the Layout block is partly responsible for where it’s appearing.
If you only have one item in a Layout block, I generally recommend not using it. The same goes for the Columns block.

Is there anyway to revert that posts block back to what it was on the base theme before I screwed around with it, without deleting the site and starting over?

Hi there,
Yes, you can revert the changes by using the revisions feature. To access the revisions of that page click on the Page tab and then select the Revisions for the sidebar. Here’s a screenshot:
