Blog post block does not work with Intergalatic 2 theme

    The blog post block does not work with the Intergalatic 2 theme on my site. The blog-post titles and read-more buttons are wrongly formatted (misaligned and in white text on a white background).

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there, happy to take a look — can you tell us which page or post you’re working with?

    Intergalactic does use white text on cover backgrounds, so it might be that. You should be able to change the text color, though: click the gear, head to color settings, and pick a text color.

    Thanks. I haven’t published a post using the blog post block yet, as it looks so awful. Thanks ofr suggesting to chang the text colour. That has solved part of the problem, but the text is still misaligned.

    There are also probelms with the images. With “show media on left/right” the images do not display. With “show media behind” the text is a misaligned mess and there are other objects in the way. There seems to be quite a substantial compatibility problem with Intergalactic 2 and the blog post block.

    The blog titles are shifted to the right and overlapping.

    The “Read more” buttons are in white on a white background.

    Thank you for the screenshots; they were very helpful.
    I did some digging, and it seems like this is a known issue with Intergalactic 2. We’ve already reported this to our developers; however, we don’t have a deadline for fixing this.
    Intergalactic 2 is an older theme, and updating it is not a priority.

    While this is not an ideal solution, I suggest checking out other themes built directly with blocks.
