Blog Post Coming Up As New Page

  I recently created a new post on my blog and for some reason it not only showed up on my blog but as a new page as well. I removed the post but the link is still listed as a new page and I cant seem to remove it. The second post I did not do this. Thoughts? How can I remove the link?
