i am trying to make it where when a person is viewing the blog page, that it doesn’t show the entire blog posts- just a summary, so they can quickly scroll by if they want. does anyone know how to do this>

It’s quite easy to do. However, depending on the theme you use, variations could occur. Anyways, here’s how to do it:
You have to make sure that the option called “Excerpt” is turned on when you’re inside of a post. So first click edit on one of your posts, to get inside the edit section for that post. At the top, right section of the screen, you’ll notice there’s a little drop down button called “Screen options”. Click this. Here you’ll want to check the box that’s called “Excerpt”.
Close the “Screen Options” dialogue box and scroll downwards on your post. Below the text field you will eventually see a field for “Excerpt”. Copy and paste the text you want to show for the summary here. Should fix the issue =)
