Blog Post Disappeared
-
I wrote and published a post last night and it now does not appear on my blog. I know it published because wordpress “congratulated me” after it posted, and my parents emailed me about the post… and yet, now it is nowhere to be found. There is a version of it saved in drafts, but it’s an earlier version, not the final one I posted… help please!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It was “Recent Adventures: March-April.” Apparently people who subscribe to the blog got the post via email, so I think it definitely should have posted

This is, unfortunately, a known bug. See if any of these related threads can help: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/tags/missing-post

I checked that post and it looks like you can recover most or all of the content by checking the past post revisions. Here’s more information on post revisions:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-revisions/If you scroll down to your post revisions, I clicked the link titled “(10 April, 2013 @ 9:35:24)” – the two columns that are shown are left -> current revision and right -> past revision. It appears the text that was missing is showing up in the past revision. To restore that revision, you can click the “restore revision” button, then click update/publish button to update and publish the post.
Let me know if you have any questions or have trouble restoring that revision.
