Blog post does not appear in the homepage

  Hi,
  I am new to wordpress. I am also not a web developer but i find WP useful.

  My trouble is how can i make my blog post appear on the homepage as an excerpt?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi There,

  For making a blog post display as an excerpt please try out the following:

  1. Go to the Dashboard – Posts – All Posts and select a post you want to edit and click on edit.

  2. Find the insertion point for “Read More.” It is a button on the toolbar that says “Read More.”

  3. Place your cursor at the position where you want to add the “Read More” link.

  4. Update the post and you are done.

  For displaying your blog posts on the homepage, you can do the following:

  1. Go to Appearance > Customize > HomePage Settings and choose to display “Your latest posts”
  Or,
  2. Go to Settings > Readings and under “Your homepage displays” choose “Your latest posts” option.

  Please try this out and let know if that works !
