Blog post editing difficulties

  Hello

  I am new to blogging. I want to do it to gain some writing experience. I am a history student and want to approach writing this blog in a serieus way. I want to start writing butt have some difficulties. I like to start the first sentence in a paragraph with a indentation and no spacing between the paragraphs.

  I think the problem is in the block system wordpress uses. If it would use pages like office word it would be easier to achieve, butt for now I am lost on how to do that. I do hope someone can help me.
