Blog Post email widget not working

I posted a new blog page over an hour ago and still have not received an email notifying my followers of the post. How can I correct this widget? The widget worked on Jul 29th but not today. murrietalocalmama.wordpress.com

Also, email notifications preferences can be set at Settings -> Discussion page.

There are some tips on what could have happened to the notification email:
Not receiving email updates?
Check your spam/junk email box. If your email client gives you the option to unblock specific email addresses, try allowing *@wordpress.com (all emails from the domain) and/or (email visible only to moderators and staff) addresses.
Make sure you to uncheck the box next to “Block all email updates from WordPress.com blogs you follow” on your Email Delivery Settings page.I hope that helps :)

Thank you both for the reply. The email finally arrived an hour and half after posting. Not sure if it was due to gmail server delay or wordpress server delay but it did eventually arrive. The curse of the internet is a desire for everything to happen instantly. Thanks again for taking the time to reply.
