blog post not showing connection directly onto facebook,twitter , tumblr

  i jsut posted a question about my blog not posting to FB or twitter automatically, and realized Tumblr as well is not receiving my posts. They all were and now it is not conneccting, though they all say they are connected and shared. thank you

  Hi there,

  I found that the Publicize connections for your Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr accounts were not checked when I look into the following posts:

  PART 1- WOULD YOU REPEAT THAT?
  Wink, Wink

  If you go into edit these posts, in the Publish module click “Edit” next to “Publicize:”. Check all three connections and click Update!

  Then you should be set!

  thank you! really thought that I had dome all of that- i thought since it was undersharing it would get on there- appreciate it.

  Quick question since i am on here- when my blog post appear on facebook for example it has my picture next to it- how can i change that picture to the one i am using as my profile picture. I cannot tell if it is through word press or facebook. I think it is wordpress because it shows wehn i edit posts or when the blog posts appears on FB . Hope this question is not too confusing!

  Hi there!

  This is actually a hot topic at the moment and our team is aware of this. But, currently, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to include. Basically, we just send them the URL, and they search through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  Technically, Facebook should show an image in the post itself, your Blavatar or Gravatar. Just note that Facebook ignores images under 200×200. You can try setting a Featured Image. Facebook should look for a Featured Image first, but sometimes it doesn’t: Featured Images

  To check which image Facebook is pulling for a given post, you can look up the post’s URL in their debugger here:

  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

  I’m sorry I couldn’t give you a more definitive answer, but we’ll let you know if we are able to change this in the near future!

  thank you though. At least it explains why I couldnt do it! i will try the featured images . appreciate it!
