Blog Post not showing on Home Page

I have looked at all the help, chat posts, and tried multiple times to fix this but I am stuck. I have 5 posts that are showing on my homepage https://sologetawayca.wordpress.com/ and today I created a new post ( https://sologetawayca.wordpress.com/2023/09/04/valparaiso-the-vibrant-chilean-coastal-city/ ) but try as I might, I cannot seem to get it to appear on the homepage. I have checked the settings between previous successful posts and this new one, and have not done anything different. I have tried clearing the cache, no change. What am I missing here – so frustrating when their is so much help yet I can’t figure this out.

Hey @ecwtravel, that is odd.
I noticed you’re using the Blog Posts block instead of a Query Loop in your template. Would you be willing to remove the Blog Post Block and add this instead to see if it helps? Here’s how. That actually gives you much more control over the layout, too:
Use the Query Loop block to display blog posts (or other content types such as pages, testimonials, or projects) anywhere on your site. This block is similar to the Blog Posts block, but with greater flexibility to display your content using many different parameters and visual layouts. This guide will show you how to use it. You bet. I did find out, by the way, there’s an issue with the Blog Posts Block displaying the first post. They’re working on a fix, but personally, I think the query loop block is better anyway since it’s more customizable. Glad you’ve got it, either way!
