Blog Post “Read More …” Functionality Metrics

  I would like the additional functionality:

  Ability to insert “Read more…” functionality into a post.

  I would like dashboard metrics built around that:

  The metrics would show the percentage of visits to the post that translated into a full read rather than a ‘bouce’ with little or no part of the post being read.

  Just a simple bit of Java eh? :-)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  & PS the functionality does not really work properly as when the “more…” is clicked the user is taken to the full blog post only. The current page content is not expanded, the user is redirected effectively to a new url.

  All the extra menubar functionality is lost when the user clicks more. Well at least it is on my blog. :-) This is actually quite bad as it leads the user to a dead end in many circumstances…then they go somewhere else rather than explore your blog more.
