blog post showing in wrong order on home page

  Hello. I just started a blog, and i have posted two posts. The newest post ended up below the older one, but I would like the newest post to be on the top of the page. How can I fix this? The theme I’m using is Twenty Sixteen.

  Hello @123minimalist,
  The old post is set as a sticky post which is pinned to the top and that’s the reason why the newer post went below it.

  You need to remove the sticky post in order to fix that.
  So to do that,
  1. Go to your blog posts page by clicking this link: https://wordpress.com/posts/,
  2. Find the sticky post and click Edit.
  3. On the sidebar of the post editor, you can find the Status tab, click on that.
  4. And then, turn off the option “Stick to the front page“.
  5. Finally, click Update.
