Blog post stuck at the top
-
I have a blog post that I wrote a few weeks ago that is stuck at the top of my page. I am using the Neve Child theme. The blog is — https://www.bigmountainanalytics.com/blog/. The post is — Calculate Working Days Between Two Dates in Spotfire and Alteryx.
I have looked at settings and tags that would cause this to stick. I don’t have the “Stick to top of blog” box checked. It’s not featured content, and I don’t have any tags attached to it that would cause this. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi,
Your blog page is displaying posts in reverse-chronological order, as it should, and that post has the most recent publish date. Is the publish date wrong?
-
It should be displaying the most recent post at the top of the page, which it is not doing. One post in particular is stuck at the top even though I have posted other more recent content since the “problematic” post was published.

Oh interesting. I see what you are saying. So, yes, the post dates are wrong. The post dates shown on the blog page are different from what is in the admin pages. For example, the post What is Python_Data_Function post was published yesterday, October 14th. On the blog page, it says Oct 2nd. The post How to Make Type Curve Inputs more efficient was also published yesterday Oct 14, and it shows Oct 3rd. Those dates might be the dates I drafted them, but I’m not sure.
-
And they are also wrong in the admin page. When I first looked, I thought it showed the correct publish dates in admin, but it’s also wrong there too. I have no switched between published and drafted. I only ever published it once.

That is a self-hosted WordPress.org site, which we really can’t help with here.
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities: http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
WordPress.org has complete documentation for self-hosted/installed versions of WordPress.org at https://wordpress.org/support/ and support at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

I was aware of it when I created my site. I had completely forgotten about that since then. Thanks.
