Blog post summary and comment

    Hi the blog posts will not go into a summary mode also when I click on the catergory the posts in that c atergory does not show show the comments unless you click on the title please help

    Hi there,
    You can enable the summary more by using the more tag in the post editor.

    Following the instructions given here to use the more tag:

    Showing the comments on the category page is not possible on WordPress.COM because it requires editing of a “functions.php” file and WordPress.COM does not allow the users to access and edit these .PHP files because we are all using the same WordPress platform and if changes were made to this files it will be applied to all the users who are using the same theme on this platform.

    HOWEVER! If you want to edit the .PHP files and have greater control over your WordPress site you can use WordPress.ORG-which is a self hosted WordPress platform for a single user.
