Blog posting failure, categories and history gone from dashboard
-
I posted a new blog on September 4. It shows up from the dashboard, but not on my livingbeyondlimits.com blog site.
From the dashboard, the only blog entries that show up are one in January and the one I attempted to post on on 9/4. Public viewing on the blog site shows a lot of my postings, including the one in January, and others from March and April.
At the time I tried to post on September 4, I received notification that you were doing maintenance.
The September 4 blog is a duplicate (due to the fact that the dashboard didn’t show that it was already posted to the site), so I will be taking it off once it shows up. However. . .WHY does my dashboard only show TWO postings. . .and the site (public view) show a history of posts, but NOT the most recent one. And why does my dashboard NOT show all the categories for all the blogs that have “disappeared”? (Probably because the dashboard has somehow lost the “history” of the March and April postings . . .but it apparently isn’t “talking” to the site anymore.
I’m guessing it probably has to do with the link between the WordPress URL — livingbeyondlimitisdotcom.wordpress.com–and the public URL — livingbeyondlimits.com.
I have not changed anything so I’m not sure wht to “fix.” I’d like to be able to post and have it actually show up on the site. I’d also like my dashboard to show the history of all the postings I’ve made as well as the categorires. It’s hard to manage my site when I can’t see what I’ve done. And it’s hard to get the blog going when I can’t post. . .
Please give me some guidance.
Thank you. . .
Thank you. . .

Hi there,
From what I can see, it looks like your September 4th post was posted to http://livingbeyondlimits.wordpress.com. However, it sounds like the blog that you wanted it to appear on is http://livingbeyondlimitsdotcom.wordpress.com, which is mapped to livingbeyondlimits.com.
To remedy this, you can either copy and paste the post from livingbeyondlimits.wordpress.com or you can use our Export tool to import the post directly to livingbeyondlimits.com:
