Blog posting in the past
-
I published the second post on my blog ( if you look it’s the one about lemon water) less than 10 minutes ago, yet it says it was posted on the 1st of July and a post I wrote 6 days ago appears before it in the listing.
I think I may have started the draft on the 1st – is that the reason? How do I go about changing this and making sure it doesn’t happen in the future?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

1. You can reset your date and timezone on your blog to reflect the timezone you actually live in. The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General
Select the closest city to you in the same timezone you live in in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.2. If that does not rectify the post order then how many sticky posts have you created? http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
3. You can edit the date stamp on the post. See here please edit post screen > http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/#deleting-posts I know you aren’t scheduling a post but these images may help you locate the date stamp you need to edit in the Publish module.

Thank you Timethief. With regards to your points:
1. I had previously set the timezone to GMT
2. None of my posts are/were sticky – I just checked
3. I have managed to edit the date stamp.
Was this due to my draft being started on the 1st and will I have to do this manually for all posts?
It’s a massive hassle if so.
Thanks again.

I think it was a weird glitch and I always double check the date on my drafts before I publish so I recommend you do that too.

Yes, it was due to the draft being started on the 1st. When you work from drafts, always edit the time/date before hitting Publish.
