Blog posting order default not working, need fix

Hi:
I insalled wordpress to host my domain: http://www.howluckyuare.com.I’ve tried 3 themes: NIsarg, Suits, and Vantage. All have same issue. Right now I am sticking with Suits.
ALL fail to show the correct posting order for my blog posts. Each theme is showing my first post first. They are not showing the most recent post first. I want my most recent post to appear at the top of my posts.
None of the posts are marked “sticky” or post first on page.
I reset my two existing posts to draft. Saved again. Then published again. Same problem persists.
I created multiple dummy posts to see how new posts would look. All fail to appear as new posts under my page “what’s new.” The original posts keeps appearing first on my “what’s new” page/blog section of my web site.
I can’t recall if I accidentally deleted a critical page or not in the set up. I don’t think I did.
I tried to adjust the up/down arrow in the All Posts section of the admin panel to reverse the order of what appeared first. This effort failed to change the order of appearance. The “What’s New” section (blog) still is showing my first post first.
I tried to delete that default/first post (the first one I edited that came with WordPress), but when I did that, it deleted the “What’s New” menu widget. So I restored it.
I am loathe to try and uninstall WordPress as I spent a day building my pages and getting the damn favicon installed (I backed all up on Word, however). Many other forums suggest uninstall and reinstall. If I do that I presume everything I created (the actual content files) are removed and I rebuild from scratch?
Also, I set my default setting to show multiple posts on the blog page. Only one is appearing at a time. I had set it to show 5 posts.
For my home page, where I’m asked:
Front page displays : Your latest posts OR A static page (select below) , I choose static page. I also changed that to latest post, and it keeps showing the oldest post first, not the new post. That doesn’t appear to be the issueAny ideas? I have several plugin installed (have not uninstalled):

It seems that your site (www.howluckyuare.com) is not hosted on WordPress.COM. Your site is hosted on Unified Layer with a software install of WordPress.ORG which means that it is not applicable to this forum.
It would be better suited for you to ask this question at https://WordPress.org/support/ for a more accurate answer. If you don’t have a WordPress.ORG account you’ll need to create one. Your WordPress.COM account won’t work there.

OK, I’ll do that. Thanks Eallas. I wasn’t even aware I have a wordpress. org install. I was using the instructions and links from the bluehost hosting site.

It’s cool, I use WordPress on Bluehost for one of my other sites. WordPress.com and WordPress.org differences ARE confusing. You can learn more about the differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
