I am trying to write a blog post- can seem to just open page and write, have been doing this 5 years, not had a problem before- not sure if it is something wrong with computer?

Thank you, had to go with the third option which is how I have been writing I realise. So I wonder if I have not been able to use the new dashboard at all. Find the old admin dashboard much more straightforward. When I go to the first link-create a post I just get a white screen. Anyway, will continue with the old dashboard for now- at least I can get going with my post. Thanks for the helpful and quick response.

No problem. Happy to help.
The new interface (blue one) works totally in JavaScript so if something is not working in the new interface, it is mostly a browser issue.
However the old dashboard will continue to work fine :)
