I see I worded my question incorrectly, sorry. It’s more of a 2 part problem I am having, however, I need the first part solved, preferably. I would like the featured theme to stop at the blog post and not repeat, that does not seem to be an option in Radcliffe, I can live with this. I do not want the featured theme to show when the post “pops up”. I would like the posts to be a solid color. I have pushed every conceivable option to no avail. Thank you for your help.

I’m not sure I understand your goal – can you explain what you mean by “featured theme”? If you’d like featured images to be displayed on your blog page but not single posts, unchecking the “Display on single posts” box in Content Options should do the trick, and I see that’s what you’ve already done, so let me know if you’re all set.

I thought that was it also, however, that does not seem to be the case. The posts still show with my picture background instead of a solid color.

The background image that you’re seeing there isn’t the featured image of each post, it’s the image you’ve chosen to display as your site’s background, which you uploaded through the Customizer’s Colors & Backgrounds panel. If you prefer solid strips on your homepage, you can remove the graphic of the sky that you uploaded as your background image.
