Blog posts aren't saving
-
I wrote a 900-word blog post, saved it, and went to bed. Two days later I went to edit the post and found it had reverted to an earlier, 200-word draft. It says the post was last edited on Feb. 1st at 8:25 am, but I wasn’t even awake until 9:30 that day. Is there a way to recover this post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Which of your drafts were you working on? I see a few in your account. Looking around in the drafts of your posts, I don’t see any longer posts of the sort which you are describing, I’m afraid. All of the draft information which we have is available in the revision history of each of your posts, so if it is not there, I’m sorry to say that we don’t have it.

It was the “Write cheap, talk big” post. Is there any way for me to look at the revision history?

Oh, absolutely! If you go to your Dashboard and then to Posts >> All Posts >> Edit your post, scroll down below the composition window. You’ll see a list of the edit times for each time the post was saved. If you click on one of those links, you’ll be taken to a window where you can compare the edits and really see what was saved and what wasn’t and scroll through each save.

Sir, buy yourself a drink for me (it’s the sentiment, right?), the post is now restored to its former glory. Thanks so much!

Now that is what I like to hear! You learned a new trick and you got your post back too.
Also I get a drink.
Best Tuesday ever. ;)
