Blog posts aren't showing up on the front page
-
Since day one of starting my blog, I have had issues with my posts not showing up on the front page of my blog. Right now, if someone decides to view my blog, they come up to the “About Me” page/tab. In order to view the posts, someone has to click on the July 2013 Archives Tab to the Right of the screen or scroll down to the Recent Posts widget section.
I am using the Splendio theme for my blog.
http://colourfulchameleon.wordpress.com/Can someone please help me with this issue? I appreciate any advice or help.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

That is happening because under Settings->General (or it might be Reading) you’ve set your blog to open on that page. Set it to open on the blog posts page instead.

@barry001
Stop posting links to WordPress.ORG documentation entries they are not relevant to WordPress.COM bloggers.The only relevant support documentation for those with free hosted WordPress.COM blogs is found here http://support.wordpress.com/

Thank you, I ended up fixing the problem. Now I have a new problem. The posts aren’t in chronological order of date posted. They are all disorganized.
Any more advice on this matter?

@creativecanuck
By default the front page of your blog displays all posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top.You changed that by making About Me a static front page and that’s the cause of your issue. Now you need to go here > Settings > Reading > Reading Settings and undo what you did by selecting
Front page displays

Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool wherein the most recent post is display on top.
You can reset your date and timezone on your blog to reflect the timezone you actually live in. The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General
Select the closest city to you in the same timezone you live in in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”.If that does not rectify the post order then how many sticky posts have you created? http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/post-visibility/#sticky-posts
