  • Hi there,

I assume you don’t want the featured image to take up the entire screen when someone opens the post, correct?

The size of the featured image on single posts is determined by the theme, and in your case, your theme displays these at full-width of the content area and the height automatically adjusting based on the width. So the way it’s being displayed is how this particular theme was designed to show it.

The theme doesn’t include any settings to change the featured image size, but you can override the theme’s design using custom CSS code on our Pro plan.

In what way do you want to resize the image on the blog posts block? The only options that block includes for changing the featured image thumbnails in terms of size is to adjust the number of columns – more columns equal slightly smaller images, and fewer columns slightly bigger – or you can set the images to be square-cropped, which would make them a bit smaller.

Depending on what you want to change you might also be able to do something using custom CSS code, though.

That makes sense, thanks for that information. And thanks for the reply back. I will keep testing this to see what I like. I just wanted the images a little smaller in proportion in the posts as well as the blog posts block while keeping the aspect ratio. I will test different themes to see what works, and hopefully upgrade from the free version.
