Blog posts don't appear in reader anymore- Please help 365 in danger!
-
Since reaching 100 posts and a regular liking of over 20, my posts suddenly stopped receiving more than 1 like. I checked to find out that they are not showing up in the reader. I always use less than 15 tags, and only use one of two topics… photography and poetry.
Is there a post limit?
Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no post limit. Without a link to your friend’s blog, we can’t even guess what might be wrong.

Thank you for replying raincoaster. I have included a link to the post and yet seem to have no response from anyone. is there a technical support email or anyone I can contact. To be honest “richardinnanjing” was doing me a favour by replying to see if anyone can even see me- right now it feels like I am a little invisible.

Well, the trouble is that every day there are dozens of reports exactly like yours. Have you looked through the related forum threads to see if any of those issues could be affecting your blog? I can confirm it’s not showing in tags, and I can’t find any obvious reason it’s not. Are you using the standard post format or the Image post format? Did you schedule the posts? Did you make them from an app or from the Dashboard of your computer? Did you use the New Post button in the grey admin bar?

Thank you again, raincoaster. It is nice to see someone taking an interest.
In answer to your questions:
Yes I have checked other forums and followed through to check, e.g. I have not checked the private box etc…
I am using standard everything and do not schedule rather I post immediately. I am adding a new post from the grey bar to the left of my screen as I always have done. It is only in recent posts that this has been an issue. I have not used an app for these posts.
I have noticed a couple of forums talk about a thread being marked for admin and also for admin. emails. I have not however as yet found any email I can contact. Do you know where I can look?Again thanks for your help.

You can email support at wordpress dot com, but staff warn that this is overloaded and unlikely to get you any prompt help.

Thank you.
I have sent an email on the off chance. It is very frustrating as I was enjoying the blog experience and now, other than those who have logged as a follower, it is fast becoming a private online diary.
Oh well, worse things happen at sea, or so my mother says!

I think you are fundamentally misunderstanding the way the internet works. Your blog is online. The number of readers who come to a blog via tag searches is minimal relative to those who come by other routes. It’s an inconvenience for those who like to follow you in the Reader, yes, but that doesn’t mean they can’t read your blog at all, or that nobody else can.

Okay, But since I went invisible and am not appearing in the poetry of photography tag searches, i have ceased to get ‘airplay’ (Sorry I am an old-timer!)
There are very few people referred to my site. Facebook is generally a no hoper- though my wife and my mum are both keen to tell me how great I am!
It looks like I am wanting to be famous or something but the truth is I was aiming to have a small audience in order to help improve a hobby, via feedback or measuring ‘likes’. It had been working but now isn’t. Maybe what you are suggesting is use the small number of followers I have as my audience…in which case this would work…
hmmm.. By brain is beginning to work I think.
