Blog posts from Twitter
-
I’d like my tweets to show up as individual “aside” blog posts, not in a widget.
How can I do that? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Anne,
I’m a bit confused as to what you are looking for. I checked and I do not see a Twitter Widget on your site. I looked at your Twitter account and it seems like the link are linking to your blog posts.
If you want to set a post as an Aside, you can do that by changing the Post Format to Aside:
Let me know if you have any questions with this!

I’m sorry for the confusion!
What I really want to be able to do is to tweet, from my phone or the net, and have that content post AS a post (an aside post, ideally) to my blog.
I’ve read tutorials online, but they feel like WordPress.org tutorials and I don’t use that platform.

Hi Anne,
Unfortunately that wouldn’t be possible on WordPress.com. It’d only be possible to create and publish a post that would automatically get tweeted using Twitter Publicize.
If this is a necessity for you, please let me know and I can help you move over to the self-hosted WordPress install.

I’m interested, but it feels like a huge undertaking. My website is hosted through GoDaddy, would that be a problem? How seamless would the transition be?

Upon further investigation, I can’t afford the guided transfer. I guess I’ll have to go it alone.

Hi Anne,
This guide will step you through the process of moving your site to a WordPress.org instance (this would be free):
http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org
As we only support sites hosted here at WordPress.com, all issues with the new site – including the importing of the file – must be taken to the WordPress.org support community:
Cheers!
