Blog posts have dark overlay – how do I make it go away?

    I am a newbie working on my first blog site. When I am in WP and select Posts>Add new post, the template that is presented has a dark overlay making the post unreadable. This same issue happens when I read a blog post on the site. The post is presented with a dark overlay. Here is an example. https://vigilanthomesecurity.com/test-post-5/

    Question 1: How do I make the dark overlay disappear? Please be specific. I am a newbie and still learning WP and Elementor. So if it’s a setting please tell me how to navigate to it.

    Question 2: Is there a template somewhere that can be edited to fix this problem?
