Blog posts in Maywood theme do not render bold () as bold

Hello,
In the blog I gave a link to, which uses the Maywood theme, if I select a part of a Paragraph block to make it bold and click the Bold button, the HTML is changed, but it is not rendered as bold, but as normal text.
For example, this link goes to a page which has a paragraph that starts with
Soluția naivă. The wordnaivăis bold, but in the editor it is not bold although it is highlighted as a formatted piece of text with invisible formatting.A screenshot is here.
I tried just the new Block Editor.
Is it possible to solve this issue somehow?
I use Firefox, the latest version, on Ubuntu 20.04.

It may be a browser issue, although I was unable to reproduce the issue on the latest Firefox (Windows OS). On a test site with Maywood applied, I found that bold text is displayed as bold text in the block editor.
I’ll tag the topic for staff attention, in case they may add some helpful information or advice. Staff will respond here.

I’m also unable to reproduce this on Firefox.
Does this happen only on that one post or are you seeing this throughout your whole site?Also, remember that with your plan you can access Live Chat directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way you can get help faster.

From what I see, the problem happens also on my home page and on all the blog articles as well (except header texts which are bold by default and on which a selection becomes not bold when pressing the B button).

First, please make sure that Firefox is up to date: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-release
If it is not, please try updating your browser or switching to a different browser.
If it is, please do these two things:
1. Try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox
2. Try with all browser add-ons temporarily disabled: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/disable-or-remove-add-ons
Please let us know how each step goes for you, and specifically which version of Firefox you’re using if you’re still having trouble.
