Blog posts not cooperating with pages

  On my blog, I have 27 total posts. Every post is on my home page, which makes my home page very long. I have buttons at the bottom for going to different pages (e.g. page 1, 2, 3) which should show more blog posts. However, all posts are on the home page, while some are duplicated into the other pages. Any help is appreciated, thanks!
