blog posts not in reverse chronological order
-
I just signed up for a WordPress blog for my library, and I’ve done two posts so far. They are not showing up in reverse chronological order; the posts are appearing with the most recent posts on the bottom rather then the top. My site is http://eplcoolcafe.wordpress.com/
I’ve set my time zone and everything, so I’m not sure how else to fix this. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do.

Posts > Edit > Quick Edit (under post title): check the date stamps of the two posts. Since the date is the same, you may have to correct the time.
-
Well, they are both dated today so you must be looking at the timestamps. Usually, the cause of posts being out of order is that you have them marked as sticky posts. If you did this, take off the sticky.

Thank you – and sorry for that: we get so many wrong visits… A sticky post is one that will remain on top of others, e.g. as a permanent notice. You can find that option under Publish>Visibility in the post editor.
-
Thank you – one more question. I have taken off the sticky to the 1/16/2009 post but the 1/21/2009 is still under it. Can I change the order now the sticky is off the first one?

@michaelcasey – consider changing the link in your user name to your blog. Having a website not hosted here at wordpress.COM in your user name is not useful to volunteers in the forums.

Thanks for letting me know about the time stamp and the Quick Edit fix, panaghiotisadam. That was the problem with my blog. Now I just need to wonder why the time stamp was so off but maybe it won’t happen again.
Anyway, thanks for the help!
