blog posts not showing

Blog posts are not showing. This is not a new site. They always showed before but something changed. I would like at least the last article posted to display at all times. Thanks.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Ditto. I moved a new post to “publish” about one hour ago and it’s not showing up and it’s not in “drafts” anymore either.

Don’t use the Beep Beep Boop editor. It has a known bug that causes this. Use the Classic Editor.

Thanks for the tip raincoaster. But in the “free” version, it appears that Beep Beep Boop editor is the only one available. I choose this vender and version because I’d never blogged before and wanted to try it out. WordPress was suggested by a relative and seemed to have a good reputation. And so far after 2 successful posts, I’m enjoying the process but loosing respect for a site that allows “known bugs” to continue and not offer any online or phone support for their products unless I pay up. I was about ready to upgrade to the “Premium” plan. But now I’m not so sure I trust WordPress to care about it’s customers.

This is not the case. When you’re in the beep beep boop editor, on the right hand side of the page down near the bottom is “Switch to the classic editor”.

They do offer online support: this is it. Post in the forum, volunteers reply, and if necessary they flag a thread for staff. in this case staff can only repeat what I’ve said, so there’s no point flagging this for them. Phone support is not usual with free services and those of us who offer it to our clients do not offer it cheaply.

Maybe that’s not the case for some, but when I select “New Post” and Beep Beep Boop opens there is no option to “Switch to the classic editor” anywhere on the page. I’m running IE in Windows 8. Here is the URL of the page: https://wordpress.com/post/86197826/new If I had a screen scraper I’d submit it. But I don’t. Maybe there is something else I’m missing.

I cannot see pages from your dashboard.

Sorry, but I don’t know what that means or how it impacts this problem. The bottom line is that I apparently lost about 2 hours of work creating a new post to add to my blog due to a “known bug” in the Beep Beep Boop editor. And I don’t have the option to use the “Classic Editor” as you state that I should have. If you don’t think that that warrants escalation to WordPress’s support staff, and that is my only recourse for a solution, then I guess I have no option other than find a new service provider for my blogging endeavor. Thanks for you time.

This is frustrating raincoaster. I’m assuming you can’t see it because it’s tied to my WordPress account. For some reason there simply IS NO option in my particular case to select the “Classic Editor”. In your second response you suggest that you have the ability to flag this for attention by the WordPress staff. If that truly is the case, since we seem to be at an impasse here, I would ask that you do whatever you do to flag this for their attention. Again, thank you for taking the time to try to help. I appreciate it.
