Blog/Posts not showing in reader

Hi Guys,
I currently have two public blogs on WordPress.com. While with one of them I’ve played around since 2011 and everything seemed to work – was able to find it and it’s posts are in the reader, with the new one it seems that I’m doing something wrong and I’m not able to figure out what.
I’ve opened the blog since the beginning of the year and thus it can be considered a recently open blog. I’ve tried to look it up in the reader as well as viewing the post on the tags they were marked with and none of the above provided any results.
When I’ve first created the blog I’ve marked it as private and used some of the posts to figure out the layout of the page as well as the one of the posts and thus the posts where firstly published as private and when I’ve made the blog public, scheduled them as new post. And while this might be considered as a change of the publish date, would like to know if this is the reason why it is not available or there is something I’m missing. Not all of them were published before, they were just drafts and still none of them appear anywhere.
If there is another reason why, can someone please point me to the right direction?
