Blog posts not showing on homepage

    Hello! I’m having a problem where, when you visit my site (lecessity.com), no blog posts are showing, and the sidebar disappears as well. I spoke with support at my hosting site, bluehost, who said that this was an issue of my wordpress settings. Specifically, they said that I must need to tell wordpress to display my blog posts on the site’s homepage (which should be automatic, I thought, unless you specify that you want a static homepage.)

    Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there maybe a problem with the theme, plugins, or settings that I should be looking at? Thanks so much in advance!

    We provide support only for wordpress.COM hosted sites. Our support docs do not apply to
    (1) local installs of wordpress.ORG software on your own server or
    (2) wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

    Also, note that we do not provide Jetpack support https://jetpack.me/support/ for sites linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin. Note that Jetpack is a plugin used by WordPress.ORG bloggers to achieve parity with what we already have built into WordPress.COM blogs. A wordpress.COM account is required to run the Jetpack plugin, but we do not provide Jetpack support on these wordpress.COM support forums. Please direct Jetpack issues to where they can get Jetpack support.

    You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

    As you are referring to a site that is not hosted here, if you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right-hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.
