Blog posts not showing up on my home page

  Hi,
  So, I’m able to write and publish posts, and they show up when clicked and linked directly, but for some reason, they don’t show up on the home page. What am I doing wrong, and how do I fix this??

  Hi,

  Are you referring to the site https://mariusmaneaart.wordpress.com/. Your annual archives pages for 2015 and 2016 indicate that there is one published post from 2015, and there are two published posts from 2016.

  It’s not clear why the 2015 post doesn’t appear on the front page, so I’ll add a tag to this topic to call for staff attention.

  By any chance do you have the maximum number of posts to display on a blog page set at two? See the Reading Settings support page regarding the “Blog pages show at most” setting.

  Wait, I’ve got it. The featured content slider includes the 2015 post, Creative Soul. That’s why it doesn’t appear below with the two 2016 posts. So all three published posts are accounted for on the front page.

  Hello!
  I’m sorry, I didn’t know how to open a new topic so I’ll just comment under this one that i think relates approximately to my problem.

  I’m using the sketch theme on my side: gloriazrenner.de and wanted to show the newest posts on the slider.
  I finally worked out to put the portfolio page tamplate on my front page.
  I added the tag “featured” to the posts I wanted to show on the slider.
  (I even tried out diefferent tags and adjusted the tag name at Customize → Featured Content.

  Can anyone help me and try to find out why it still doesn’t work?
