Blog posts not updating

In the bottom of the homepage, there shows the Home, and Join, and the last post I posted. How can I make it not show the Home and Join, but only the latest posts?
I would appreciate any help, because this is getting annoying.

You’ll notice that you that you have three footer options for the Dara theme. Each section is a widget. You’ll want to remove those and use the Recent Posts widget instead: https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/recent-posts-widget/
That’ll only show your recent posts. Let us know if you have any further questions or issues whilst doing that.

Hey,
I added the recent posts widget and deleted all widgets from the 3 footers, but the Home and Join still didn’t disappear. I don’t know what the problem might be, so I would appreciate if you can check it out.

Oh, my bad, I didn’t realise that was the widget error – that didn’t appear on my test site. Nevertheless, I’ve tagged WordPress.com staff to see if they can help. You should receive a response within a few hours. :)

Those are your site’s featured pages. To change or remove them, go to My Site ->Customize ->Theme Options.
