  How do I add a different thumbnail picture to each of the post taglines in the list on the home page?

  Hi there, the default blog homepage automatically pulls in the featured image of each post. https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/

  If you want to display a different image on the homepage, you’d need to add a different featured image to your post. You can continue adding other images in the post itself.
