Blog posts on separate pages

Our summer internship program runs a blog where each of our interns post a reflection blog weekly. We have a tab called ‘2018 interns’ and within the tab are nested pages for each intern. Currently their individual tab only contains their bio, and all blog posts (from each intern) are posted on the homepage. I understand there is an option to make a static homepage and then a separate page for blog posts, but is there a way to give each intern the option to post on their own individual page (i.e. from a drop down options before they publish)?

Assign a category to each student’s posts (like their name) the WordPress.com system will automatically create a category page for each student that will have all the posts under that category. You can use those category page names in your menu.
Alternately you can use a “display-posts” shortcode on each students’ introductory page to include just their own post category. You have a lot of flexibilty here on whether to include just a list or an excerpt or the full posts:
