blog posts on two pages

I have two distinct types of blog posts, but I want them both to be on the same site. Is it possible to post some blogs on one page, and others on a different page? I added the new page, but I couldn’t find a way to post to it.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can create categories for your 2 types of blog posts. And you can create a menu item for each of your categories. Thereby creating 2 pages of posts for your different types. (Caveat: all of your posts will still appear on your blog page but if you wish you can minimize its significance if you prefer by its placement in the menu, etc.)
