blog posts spilling over into sidebar

I know this issue has already been addressed in this forum, however I have not had any results following the advice I’ve read so far. Older posts (that used to be fine) are showing up spilling over the margins into sidebar. The widgets are stuck way down at the bottom of the blog. I have tried re-doing the posts by deleting the text and pasting it in using the paste as plain text button, but nothing changes. I don’t really mind the older posts being screwed up, I just mainly want to get the widgets back to the top of the sidebar.

You’ve got bad HTML in your post “Honey is so good”. Go to Settings>Writing, tick the option “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically”, click Save Changes; then make any insignificant change to the post (for instance add then remove a space) and click Update.

Also note that if you are copying and pasting text from elsewhere without using either icon 5 or icon 6 in Row 2 of the visual editor, then you need to take note of this so you know how to do this correctly in the future. http://en.support.wordpress.com/visual-editor/#pasting-text -
