Blog posts without featured image are still being featured.

  I have a post showing up on my home page that does not have a featured image associated with it. When I published it originally, the post did not come up as a circle on the home page, only on the “blog” page where I have posts pulled in with code. There is no featured image with it – so I don’t understand how this is appearing! Also, it just appeared after a few days of not being up. Please explain?

  Hi there!

  I’m not sure why this post wouldn’t have shown up on your front page to begin with. Your front page shows all of your recent posts, not just the ones with Featured Images. If you do not set a featured image, the theme will select an image from the post to use. And if there is no image it will display the post title.
