Blog Posts without Static Page

  Hi,
  I was wondering if there’s a way to input blog posts within a page without using the static front page option in settings? I’m currently creating a portfolio site and I’ve already set my static front page to a grid layout so I don’t want to change it, but I also want a blog section.

  I’m using the Sketch theme.

  Hello popjuice,

  Yes, it is possible to have a static front page as well as a blog page that displays your posts.

  If you go to your Customizer, and check your Homepage Settings, you can set a page to use for your blog posts. You will need to create a new Page first.

  Ah I’m sorry, I think I may have misread your question.

  You have your static front page set to your portfolio, but you don’t want to use the static front page option in settings?

  Hi,

  Thanks for your suggestions. The Customizer worked well for me. My question about the static page in settings was what was recommended online but it wasn’t the answer I was looking for, but yours did the trick!
